Natalie BUTLER
I love food, too!
Natalie remembers being a foodie even as a young child and set out to change the world through food. Natalie's happy place is her kitchen where she loves to cook, bake, and create delicious, from-scratch, healthy food for her family and friends. She loves utilizing new technology, blogging, and social networking to educate and motivate others to eat and live healthier.

Natalie loves spending time with her husband, Craig, sons, Hudson and Holden, and daughter, Hazel. Interestingly, Natalie herself has food intolerances, her son was diagnosed with Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) in 2015 and other family members suffer from food allergies and digestive diseases, which has led Natalie to specialize in those areas. She enjoys yoga and barre, and outdoor activities like paddleboarding and hiking. Natalie is a foodie at heart so she loves most cuisines, especially spicy Indian and Thai, and enjoys experiencing the Austin area's amazing farm to table restaurants.
Professional Experience
Natalie received her undergraduate degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and completed her dietetic internship at Marywood University. During her college years, Natalie battled severe Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), but found relief through nutrition and lifestyle changes. Upon graduation, Natalie gained an understanding of the organic and natural food industries, the supplement industry and clinical dietetics through her various job experiences. Natalie started her own private practice, Nutrition By Natalie, in 2005 to further help people reconnect with nourishing, wholesome food. She advocates for a personalized, nutrigenomics and functional-medicine based approach to disease prevention and treatment. Natalie specializes in medical review, consulting and corporate wellness services for various large tech and health information companies. She also works with Healthline as a medical reviewer, for Mind Body Green as a health writer, is on the advisory board for Head Health, Inc. and consults for the popular intermittent fasting app, Simple. She also provides a variety of services for individuals, families, her local Austin-area community and other companies.
